Matt-
Here are my comments from another thread regarding the poker rooms that I've played at:
paradise poker - software is good
pokerstars - best (type, limits) tourneys online
party poker - best (softest) games online, best game selection, most one table tourneys available at any given time
wsex - lost its edge but had the highest limits online, most flexible manager in regard to table creation/special requests
I pretty much only play at Partypoker now since the games are good and its very convenient. For someone who doesn't have much time to play its a great option since I can go there and find basically any game at any time that I want. Party's tourneys (1 table and multitable)are good but Pokerstars multitable tourneys cannot be beat. They have a weekly no limit tourney with an entry fee of 215 or 225 where the prize pool is >100k. I've only played in that once when I qualified through a satellite but it was cool. Party's biggest weaknesses:
1) Software is not the best. Some of the other sites have more aesthetically pleasing software that operates smoother.
2) Customer service is not timely. The influx of new players has jammed them on the customer service end so if you have a problem you'll have to wait a day or so to get it resolved. Before the ads it took a couple of hours. I've played there for about a year and had to contact customer service maybe 2-3 times. Once about a server crash while playing (they actually took care of the problem before responding to my email) and the others were reports of suspicious all-ins or collusion.
That's my take.
A few other posters play there so maybe they can chime in guys like.....Tekari, Playersonly69 (who had a long post bashing them but has recently been writing with partypoker tournament updates on his progress in a few events...lol), max1234, and SSI
One piece of advice, do not use Firepay to deposit with them.
